No thumbs on my site

Hello, I'm a newbie to this, but after putting the code on my site http://www.wichitapride.org/GLBTDirectory/index.php?list=latest  There are no thumbs showing up.  Have I done something wrong or put something in the wrong spot??   Please help.

Re: No thumbs on my site

Hi Elliott,

Due to strong interest in our Free Thumbshots, we currently have a backlog on the system. You may want to consider our premium Thumbshots, which receives high priority updates from just $4.99. The premium edition gives bigger sizes, page-specific Thumbshot and much more. See the full comparison here.

Thanks,

Re: No thumbs on my site

I am assuming this means either pay or get the standard "Coming Soon" image instead?  I've been using thumbshots for almost a year and suddenly all my thumbnails have been replaced with this standard message.

Re: No thumbs on my site

I concur.  Thumbnails have always worked for my site, now they do not.

I'm sorry, but I feel that $5/mo is too much for what little traffic I get to that area of my site.

I would have no problem paying $20/yr for such a service however.

Re: No thumbs on my site

I'm experiencing the same behavior.

I'm using the free service, and noticing that periodically all the thumbnails on page will revert back to the coming soon image instead of thumbnail that was previously working.  Is this a problem with the service?  Will upgrading to the paid version alleviate this problem, or does this type of problem affect the paid users as well?

Re: No thumbs on my site

Yes, the paid version doesn't suffer from intermittent network glitch during high load. Thanks.

Re: No thumbs on my site

Shouldn't you be honest and just admit that for practical purposes, there is no such thing as free thumbshots?

I added them to my mor than a week ago with nothing but the "Coming Soon" notice as a result. I suppose then that everyone

new site I madd will go through the same protracted (un-defined) period of waiting. What a pitiful way to make claims that
simply lure people into using your service.

Very disappointed.

Re: No thumbs on my site

I was wondering the same thing. I noticed the standard image "comming soon." I signed up today to get the free version and source code for my website. Will the comming soon image be updated or do I have to purchase the premium to get rid of the standard image? Is there a way to get rid of the standard image without buying the premium version?

Re: No thumbs on my site
Hi code, that's a correct, the premium version lets you upload your own coming soon image.

Re: No thumbs on my site

Hi Letisha

Thanks for advising us about the Thumbshot image.

The Thumbshot Image may be outdated or have not yet been indexed by one of our bots. Please let our bots do their job in trying to update older Thumbshots images. Unfortunately, Thumbshots is a Free service, so sometimes the updates may take a bit longer.

Alternatively, you also have an optional Express Update Service at  /Update.aspx

Thanks!
