Spiders consuming hits 
Is there a way of preventing spiders and crawlers from consuming the monthly quota in the premium package?  I used a similar service a few years ago but had to discontinue it due to Google bots costing me a small fortune in user fees.

Secondly, what happens when the monthly limit is reached?  Do all thumbs show the "coming soon" image or does the service revert back to the free service standards?  I understand that additional usage can be purchased but does any unused portion carry forward?

hi Bryan,

You can use Valid Domains under the Manage Thumbshots Images page to allow pulling from valid domains only.

When your monthly limit is reached, I believe you get a email warning from Sales to purchase additional hits. If you don't purchase more hits, eventually we'll turn off the counter and it'll show the "coming soon" image or if you uploaded your own alternate image, it will show that.

Unfortunately, unused portion cannot be carried over. Thanks,
