You can use Valid Domains under the Manage Thumbshots Images page to allow pulling from valid domains only.
When your monthly limit is reached, I believe you get a email warning from Sales to purchase additional hits. If you don't purchase more hits, eventually we'll turn off the counter and it'll show the "coming soon" image or if you uploaded your own alternate image, it will show that.
Unfortunately, unused portion cannot be carried over. Thanks,
